Hi Beirut! I'm a bandoneon player from the Netheralands. I worked with Astor Piazzolla and with teh old maestro Don Osvaldo Pugliese. I do have tango Sextet since 22 years and also a duo with the Argentine piano player Juan Pablo Dobal. I will visit with my bandoneon Beirut from February 9 til February 14. I have been changed in my world perception by your web site (very good by the way!) I had thought that Lebanon was a middle eastern country torn by war and Islamic Terrorism. I would have thought that Tango would have been "outlawed" and especialy women's dress. If I have been listening to propaganda from my own government I am sorry, I did not know. Is Lebanon safe for Americans to travel to? Perhaps you must laugh at me for my false impressions and that is alright. Please e-mail me any info on Lebanon that you can this is facinating!
